The AXE I/O is equipped with many guitar-specific functions even at the input stage alone.
2 mode switches, PURE and JFET, are provided for the main input, and you can switch between a transparent sound without seasoning and a warm sound by adding overtones. In addition, PASSIVE mode for passive pickup and ACTIVE mode for active pickup are available. In ACTIVE mode, unnecessary circuits are bypassed to bring out the original tone of the guitar or pickup. In addition, the patent-pending Z-Tone allows you to adjust the input impedance to match the tone of the connected guitar or pickup. Optimal sound can be obtained that avoids sound thinning and muffled sound due to impedance mismatch.
