The main input features two mode switches: PURE and JFET, allowing you to switch between a transparent sound without flavor or a warm sound with added harmonics. It also offers PASSIVE mode for passive pickups and ACTIVE mode for active pickups. ACTIVE mode bypasses unnecessary circuitry to preserve the natural tone of your guitar or pickup. Furthermore, the patent-pending Z-Tone technology allows you to adjust the input impedance to match the tone desired by the connected guitar or pickup. This allows you to achieve the optimal sound, avoiding the thinness and muffled sound caused by impedance mismatch. AXE I/O comes bundled with over 1,000 software and plug-ins, so you can start recording, mixing, and mastering right away. AmpliTube 4 Deluxe is guitar/bass effects and amp modeling software featuring over 140 gear models, featuring ultra-realistic, analog-like guitar and bass amps, cabinets, stomp effects, and microphones. Select presets and adjust values using the knobs on the AXE I/O front panel, or connect external pedals or footswitches to control the pedals and switches in AmpliTube. The mix software also comes bundled with 10 popular processors carefully selected from T-RackS 5. From compressors and limiters modeled after vintage outboard gear to the popular integrated processor ONE, you'll be able to create world-class mixes and masters.
