A compact blender that allows you to control the volume of both DRY and WET. By mixing the clean sound with the effect sound, you can create a distortion with a strong core, or add a spatial effect while retaining more of the original sound.
More possibilities for all effects.
There are various ways to create new sounds. Clean blend is one of the most effective ideas.
Blending an effected sound with a clean signal can create a clear and solid distortion, turn a pitch shifter into a harmonizer, or give a compressor a new flavor.
The One Control Minimal Series Mosquito Blender Trail with BJF Buffer is a pedal that takes guitar and bass sound creation to a new level.
You can control and mix DRY and WET individually, allowing you to fine-tune the tone. Each knob is set to unity gain at maximum, so depending on the pedal you connect, you can use it like a signal boost.
And by turning on the TRAIL switch, you can bypass effects such as delay and reverb while retaining their reverberation, or continue playing while playing with the sound of the oscillating effect.
By inverting the signal phase with the PHASE switch, you can mix naturally without phasing out the sound even when mixing with effects that invert the polarity. You can also deliberately phase out the sound to aim for a unique sound.
The pedal has a BJF Buffer switch on the side, allowing you to apply the BJF Buffer to the input.
●BJF Buffer
The overwhelmingly natural BJF Buffer overturns the image of many ""buffers"".
・Set the gain to exactly 1.
・Do not change the sound with the input impedance.
・Do not make the output too strong.
・Minimize noise to the utmost.
・Make sure the sound does not deteriorate when overloaded.
The BJF Buffer, which met BJF's particular requirements for a buffer, is helping guitar signals at the feet of many professionals around the world.
The blender circuit splits the signal into two and outputs it to the effect loop and output. Therefore, the blender circuit is also equipped with a buffer, and even if the BJF Buffer is set to OFF, the buffer in the circuit is applied.
While the effect of many effects is stronger the later they are connected, the effect of the buffer is greater when it is connected earlier. This is the reason for incorporating a BJF Buffer in the input section. By turning the BJF Buffer ON, you can stabilize the overall tone to a warm and natural tone.
●Controls
・DRY: Adjusts the volume of the dry signal (input signal) from 0 to 100%.
・WET: Adjusts the volume of the wet signal (effect loop signal) from 0 to 100%.
・BJF Buffer: Switches the BJF Buffer ON/OFF.
・TRAIL: Sets the trail. When set to on, the signal from the RETURN terminal is mixed even when the blender is bypassed.
PHASE: Inverts the polarity of the signal. Set it to the closest to the tone you need while listening to the actual tone.
*When the foot switch is turned OFF, only the dry signal is output. This is not a true bypass.
*Since the PHASE switch inverts the phase, switching it while sound is being output may result in switching noise.
