The SUB15 is a powered subwoofer designed for main/midfield use, capable of extending low-frequency reproduction down to 20Hz. It boasts excellent transient response and high-performance bass reproduction capabilities, allowing for the reproduction of low-frequency peaks without distortion or overheating. A down-fire bass reflex port prevents unwanted port noise. It features control functions that allow adjustment of the subwoofer's input volume and crossover frequency, making it suitable for various environments.

The Sub15 boasts extremely powerful playback capabilities, extending the low-frequency reproduction of main/midfield monitoring systems down to 20Hz.

The robust 15-inch woofer is constructed from a very rigid aluminum cone, with two powerful magnets and a 100mm voice coil forming its drive mechanism. The built-in PWM amplifier delivers 1000W of RMS power and boasts nearly 90% efficiency. This allows the Sub15 to easily reproduce even critical sound sources with sharp low-frequency peaks without distortion or overheating. The down-fire bass reflex port has ample dimensions to prevent port noise and features a special design with rounded edges.

To allow for adjustment of the subwoofer's sound to suit various room environments and personal preferences, the Sub15 features input level volume control (+6dB to -60dB) and... It features multiple control functions, including crossover frequency adjustment (50Hz to 150Hz). When using monitor speakers as satellite speakers, you can choose to drive the speakers as full-range speakers or cut frequencies below 85Hz. This allows for easy integration of the Sub15 into Dolby surround compliant setups. Furthermore, if the phase relationship between the satellite speakers and subwoofer is undesirable around the crossover band, simple control is possible using the phase inversion switch on the control panel.

The Sub15 features XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced input/output terminals on the rear, providing flexibility for various environments.

The Sub15 combines excellent transient characteristics with superb bass reproduction capabilities, delivering a pure and musical sound experience. With a maximum sound pressure level of 120dB @1m reproduced without distortion, the Sub15 is an ideal subwoofer for medium to large control rooms.
