Vandoren / Alto Saxophone Reeds Traditional 2-1/2 (10-pack)

A classic alto saxophone reed, called the blue box, is used worldwide by both professionals and amateurs. The sound is well-balanced from bass to treble, and the outline of the sound is clear. It is preferred by wind band players, but it is also popular with a wide range of users such as jazz and rock.

[Features]

■ If you're having trouble choosing an alto saxophone reed, this is the Vandoren standard model.

■ Players often start with 2.5 (2-1/2, 2.5) or 3.0 (strength 3).

■ The tip of the reed is extremely thin and has excellent response.

■ The central part of the reed, called the heart, is relatively thick, giving it a core tone.

■ Precisely processed and inspected down to 1/100 mm.

■ Reeds are individually wrapped in film in a plastic case. After opening, store in the reed case (sold separately) to prevent reed warping.
