iRig HD 2 is the successor to iRig HD, the popular digital audio interface for guitar/bass.

Headphone output terminal that can adjust monitor volume, 1/4 inch standard out terminal for amplifier connection, effect while keeping the basic specifications equipped with a high-quality A/D converter that supports 24 bit/96 kHz despite its pocket size. It has been reborn with many new functions such as FX/THRU switch that can switch dry sound. It also comes with a full version of AmpliTube for use on Mac/PC computers and iOS devices.

とにかく付属のUSBケーブルが破損しすぎる（解決法あり）

ギターとiPhoneで作りたい音をすぐ作れてDAWソフトに取り込めるという発想は非常に素晴らしくその点については文句はまったくないです。しかし、付属のUSBケーブルが貧弱すぎます。かれこれ1年半くらい使いましたが、その間、ケーブルのとくにLightning端子が折れること折れること・・・4本近くケーブルを交換しました。また、そのケーブルが5千円以上もするというもので、とてもじゃないが今後使っていけないと判断しiRig　HDX に買い替えました。USB to Lightningケーブルはそこら辺の量販店でも格安で売ってますし、今後のケーブル代を考えるとそうせざるを得ませんでした。
追記：iRig HDXの使い勝手があまりに悪くこちらに戻りました。そして、純正のケーブルを使わずに安いカメラアダプタ経由でこれまた安いUSBケーブルを使用することにより問題なく動作させることができました（あくまで自己責任で）。高価な純正品を買い替えずに安く済むので、評価を上げます。

使い勝手は良いが、、

使い勝手は良く満足しているが、、
いかんせんirig関係は昔からケーブルが弱く、どこかに固定するような代物でもないので、持ち運びや録音作業しているとすぐに断線、接触不良に陥る。
買い替えようと探しても無い。
あったと思ったら案の定高い。
結果売りました。

フルバージョンと言う言葉に騙される

amplitubeで20000円程のフルバージョンのシリアルコードが付属と書いていたので購入したのですが、フルバージョンでも何でもなく、いくつかのフリーのアンプやエフェクターが使えるのみで買って後悔しました。音の遅延も少し気になります。やっぱりアンプ直が間違いない。

iRigシリーズでベストです

iRigはいろいろ試していますが一番使い出があります。なによりアンプアウトがあるので、ギター用のオーディオインターフェイスとして使えます。
通常は、
ギター - エフェクターボード - 本機 - 小型チューブアンプ
本機からはUSBにてPC（AmpliTube）
という接続です。
DAW（LogicPro X）もオケは通常のステレオアウト、ギターは録音時はアンプ（本機）に出力しています。いったん録音が終わったらギターもステレオ出力に切り替えてミックスしてます。
スルーアウトにもできるのでPCつけなくても使えるのも便利です。重宝してます。
