iRig Pre HD is a product that complies with the MFi (Made For iPhone/iPad/iPod touch) standard. Ready to use on all iOS devices equipped with a Lightning terminal. Since iPhone 7, the number of models without a headphone terminal has increased, but iRig Pre HD is also equipped with a headphone out that can adjust the playback volume, so you can rest assured. In addition, it is equipped with an XLR input terminal that can supply 48V phantom power with two AA batteries. Regardless of the type, dynamic, condenser, handheld, you can connect a professional microphone and record professional audio. Of course, it is also possible to connect to a Mac/PC via USB.

The iRig Pre HD is equipped with a high-quality Class A preamplifier with flat frequency characteristics over a wide band of 20Hz to 20kHz (+/-1.5dB), enabling faithful sound recording without losing the nuances of the original sound. The signal that has passed through the pre-amplifier is digitally connected through an AD converter that supports 24-bit/96kHz, so the transparent sound is directly input to the video recording and recording app.

iRig Pre HD supports direct monitoring. When direct monitor is turned on, the input signal is output directly without going through an iOS device or Mac/PC, so you can monitor the audio being recorded in real time. It is ideal for checking the input signal without delay during recording and for monitoring the audio of apps that do not support real-time monitoring.
