This next-generation model inherits the functionality of the acclaimed XLS series. It features improvements including appearance, DSP processing power, and operability. All models are designed to be lightweight, weighing less than 5kg, reducing the burden of transportation and installation.

■DriveCore achieves lightweight design without compromising sound quality
Equipped with ""DriveCore,"" a custom IC that integrates the heart of the amplifier circuit—high-precision clock, modulation, error amplification, feedback, and other functions—on a single chip. Parts have been reduced to the bare minimum without compromising power or sound quality.
The power supply employs a lightweight, highly efficient switching power supply.
All models are lightweight, weighing less than 5kg, for excellent portability.
■Outstanding output power
Class-D operation efficiently drives even high-load subwoofers.
Equipped with a Peakx limiter, maximizing output performance while protecting speakers.
■Powerful DSP enables filter configuration
The PureBand crossover system employs a 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley filter. Crossover points can be set anywhere between 30Hz and 3kHz in 1/12-oct increments.
Filter types include no filter, low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass.
■ Flexible Input/Output
Three types of input terminals are provided: XLR, standard phone, and RCA. Input sensitivity can be selected from 1.4V and 0.775V.
Output terminals include Speakon and binding posts.
■ Well-balanced functionality
The front panel is equipped with a backlit LCD display. This can be turned on/off, including the indicator LEDs. A lock function is also available to prohibit front-panel operation.
A status signal is output from the rear panel to remotely check proper operation.
An external contact can be used to activate sleep mode, which reduces power consumption.
An air-cooled fan is installed to efficiently cool the inside of the unit.
■ Larger LCD Display
The LCD display is larger than the previous model. The menu structure has also been revised, significantly improving operability.
■ AUX Terminal
The left pin can be used to activate sleep mode, which reduces power consumption, via an external contact.
The right pin outputs a status signal to remotely check that the device is working properly.

AMCRON XLSシリーズは、5kg未満と超軽量、そして高いコストパフォーマンスながらDSPを搭載した人気のデジタル・パワーアンプです。内蔵されているクロスオーバーは、フィルターなし、ローパス、ハイパス、バンドパスの4種類から選択することができるので、フルレンジ、サブウーハーなどスピーカーの特性に合った設定をすることができ、2ウェイ・システムを組む際にとても便利です。また業務用パワーアンプだと、入力はXLRとフォン、出力はスピコンだけという仕様が多いですが、XLSシリーズは、RCA入力、バインディングポスト出力も用意されているので、接続する際にコネクターを気にせず使うことができるというのも嬉しいポイントです。低域から高域まで全体的なバランスが良く、クリアでクセのないサウンドキャラクターは、トークイベント、運動会、学園祭、ライブといろいろな場所で活躍すること間違いなしの一台です。

発熱少ない夏用、家庭用オーディオとして導入

ファンの音はしません。深夜でボリューム絞っても分からない。
無音でパワーアンプの前にいても分からないレベルで家庭用としては合格。
発熱もしません。

試聴機は
CDP　アキュフェーズ　DP70V　
プリ　LUXMAN　C06
パワーLUXMAN　M07
SP　ハーベス　HL5
です。
M07は純A級アンプのため発熱が半端なく、酷暑の夏用にパワーアンプXLS1002を導入しました。
エージングに3日間くらいかかりました。

音質を一言で表現すると「これ、めっちゃええ」です。

自宅のステレオセットのパワーアンプ（マランツ170）が爆発したため交換用に　プリアンプなし　キーボード用ミキサーから直で　JBL 4312Aに繋いでます　充分過ぎる　勿体なかった　どっかでPAやりてぇ！

用途はホームオーディオ

加齢による体力低下から、D社製アナログアンプ重さ25kgの巨体に恐怖を感じ始める（苦笑）。そこでリプレイスすべくD級パワー・アンプをリサーチ。このサイトにて本機XLS1002を発見。重さわずか4kgなのに出力4倍、クロスオーバー・BTLまでついて値段も軽量。話が上手過ぎ？？？、Crownブランドを信じて、即決購入。
音質は、ボーカルの艶やかさはアナログが優っているが、音の活況感・開放感、音量バランスはXLSに軍配か。これは個人の好み・主観です。バインディングポストとかスイッチの作りは値段相応ですが、機能的には問題無く動作してます。無音時のホワイトノイズ・ファン音も皆無、触ってもぬる燗程度。今のところ大満足です。
なおYouTube動画に紹介されていますが、バナナプラグ使用時はポストネジに埋め込まれたキャップを木ネジ付きドライバー等で引き抜く必要があります。（取説には記載無い様です）
