JBL / LSR705i

The 705i is a 2-way, full-range passive monitor speaker. It employs a compression driver with a 1-inch annular polymer diaphragm for high frequencies. Its lightweight construction ensures quick response to input signals and allows for the reproduction of even the most delicate tones. The annular diaphragm's high conversion efficiency significantly reduces the load on the amplifier.

705i and The 708i requires the use of the following DCi Series (N model) amplifiers
or BSS signal processors:
DCi 2|300N (2-channel power amplifier)
DCi 4|300N (4-channel power amplifier)
DCi 8|300N (8-channel power amplifier), etc.
Crown DCi “N” network models include the digital signal processing functionality required for 7 Series operation, pre-installing DSP profiles for speaker tuning and additional filters for room EQ.
If you absolutely must use other amplifiers (although DCi analog models are still recommended), we strongly recommend using them in conjunction with a BSS signal processor.
When using amplifiers other than the Crown DCi Network models listed above, the use of Soundweb London with a HARMAN BSS signal processor is required.
Note that because playback is intended to be performed using pre-configured presets, some information, such as impedance and power handling capacity, is not included on the spec sheet for this series.
