JBL / LSR705i

The 705i is a 2-way full-range passive monitor speaker. For the high frequencies, it employs a compression driver with a 1-inch annular polymer diaphragm. Lightweight and responsive to input signals, it can reproduce even the most delicate nuances. The annular diaphragm offers high sound conversion efficiency, significantly reducing the amplifier load.

705i and When using the 708i, the following DCi series (N model) amplifiers

or BSS signal processors are required:

DCi 2|300N (2-channel power amplifier)

DCi 4|300N (4-channel power amplifier)

DCi 8|300N (8-channel power amplifier), etc.

Crown DCi “N” network models include the digital signal processing functions necessary for operating the 7 series, and come pre-loaded with DSP profiles for speaker tuning and additional filters for room EQ.

If you absolutely must use a different amplifier (※even in this case, an analog DCi model is recommended), we strongly recommend using it in conjunction with a BSS signal processor.

When using an amplifier other than the Crown DCi Network models listed above, the use of a HARMAN BSS signal processor with Soundweb London is required.

Note that because playback is assumed to be using pre-configured presets, some information such as impedance and power handling capacity is not listed on the spec sheet for this series.
