If you've used a great-sounding, well-tuned vintage tube amp in the studio, you can create a ""profile"" from that amp and play with that tone anytime, anywhere.

It's not just a simple patch list for a digital amp; Profiling Technology delivers the vibrant, dynamic, and multifaceted character of a tube amp. ■To start profiling, simply connect your amp to the Kemper Profiling Amplifier and press the ""record"" button. Simply insert it into the recording line and watch the magic happen. A test signal is sent from the Kemper Profiling Amplifier to the amp and recorded on the microphone in front of the cabinet. You don't even need to play your guitar to profile; within a minute, the Kemper Profiling Amplifier will have acquired your amp's DNA.
■Four independent stompbox slots offer a wealth of effects, including famous overdrives, distortions, compressors, reverbs, multiple delays, LoFi algorithms, and a beautiful rotary speaker simulator. A wide variety of chorus, phaser, and flanger pedals are faithfully reproduced based on classic models. For creative sonic needs, there's a decimator (which reduces the bit and sample rate to create sonic effects), a ring modulator, and various other special effects. All stompboxes can be edited and copied between presets. The slots feature color-changing LEDs, so you can see at a glance which effect is in use.
