RADIAL / JDI Stereo

The Radial JDI Stereo is a 2-channel model of the ""JDI,"" a passive DI that is synonymous with Radial. Its passive design requires no power supply, resulting in natural, noise-free, pure sound. It outputs a flat signal with almost no phase distortion across a wide frequency range from 10Hz to 40kHz.

■Jensen transformers and natural sound
- Utilizes high-quality Jensen audio transformers, which excel in ground loop isolation. Jensen transformers maintain high fidelity to the original sound and are low noise and distortion. Therefore, unlike active DIs, which are limited by the rail voltage of the buffer amplifier, this DI reproduces the instrument's natural sound, fully expressing the player's every nuance.

■Two independent input/output channels
Each channel is equipped with a 1/4"" input terminal, a through output, and a 15dB input PAD switch. The ground lift switch disconnects pin 1 of the two XLR outputs, eliminating hum/buzz noise caused by ground loops.

■15dB pad switch
The high-performance Jensen transformer installed in the JDI Stereo means you don't have to worry about large signals being input. In fact, many artists and engineers enjoy the natural compression sound created by the transformer saturation.

However, connecting a high-output digital piano or DJ mixer can sometimes result in excessive input. In such cases, you can use the 15dB pad switch to reduce the input sensitivity.

■Ground lift switch
JDI Passive DIs like the Stereo are resistant to hum and buzz noise caused by ground loops. However, ground loops can occur for a variety of reasons depending on the surrounding environment.
For this reason, in addition to transformer isolation, the JDI Stereo is equipped with a ground lift switch to disconnect pin 1 of the XLR connector.
