■ The DI-1 is a professional-grade active direct box. Its high-impedance input circuit allows direct connection of electric guitars, electric basses, and other instruments.
■ It features an auto power on/off circuit that automatically turns off the power when the input signal is removed.
■ Phantom power support allows it to be powered from a phantom-powered mixer.
■ The input attenuator supports a wide range of inputs. The phase switch allows you to change the polarity of the balanced output.
■ The ground lift switch allows you to isolate the earth connections of the input and balanced output.
■ It is equipped with an input parallel output jack.
■ As a ground-guaranteed direct box, it will operate normally even if pins 1 and 2 (or 3) of the balanced output are shorted.

使いやすく良いです

キーボートやギターなどの接続用に購入しました。
DIといえばコレ！というぐらい超定番ですね。

スイッチ類が操作しやすく、ＡＴＴは３パターンあり
どんな出力レベルのものでも使いやすいです。

中の基板に使用されているＩＣやコンデンサ、コネクタなどは日本メーカのものが使用されており、作りが精巧です。
海外製の高いDIは中身見るとがっかりですが。。笑

自分の場合、ファンタムでしか使用しないため、中の006Pバッテリーは常時外しています。

自宅での練習と録音のため購入しました。説明書通りXLRのバランスアウトをMTRへ、アンバランスアウトをベースアンプに繋げて遊んでいます。同様のことをMXRベースdiでもやりましたが、DI-1の方が音的に素直なように感じます（文字通りダイレクト！）。
なお、他の方のレビューにあるように電池交換はドライバーが必要で手間がかかるかもしれません。しかし、ネジを六角穴付ボルト（3×6）にしたところ、ある程度は指先で締める・緩めるは可能になりました。買ってよかったです。
