The best-selling analog guitar interface model iRig has finally been redesigned as iRig 2.
In addition to the stereo mini terminal for headphone output that was also equipped on iRig, a new 1/4 inch standard jack output terminal for connecting an amplifier has been added. This allows you to use AmpliTube, an effects/amp modeling app for IK guitars and basses, both in practice and on the live stage.
The iRig 2 is also equipped with an FX/THRU selector switch, allowing you to switch between effect sounds and bypass sounds through AmpliTube. For example, you can use a mobile device as a tuner or recorder, and use another paddal effect or amplifier to create the sound.

iRig 2 is as simple to use as ever. Simply connect the TRRS mini plug output terminal to your iPhone or iPad. All you have to do is connect a guitar, bass, electronic musical instrument, etc. to the input terminal of the standard iRig 2 jack.

In addition, the newly installed input gain adjustment dial can adjust the input gain according to the pickup of the guitar or bass such as active, humbucker, single coil, piezo. The input gain dial provides optimal sound with minimal noise and feedback.
