ハイパワーオールラウンダー

しばらく使用してみて・・・
メーカーの説明通り、非常にパワーのあるPUです。
音質は低音はタイトに、高音は伸びつつ分離もよく、程よくマイルド。
クリーンは濁ることなくパワーのあるPUにありがちな、クリーンがクランチになるような事もないのは流石。
PUそのものの出力は歪みメインでやりたいからあまり落としたくない。しかし一本のギターで様々なジャンルに挑戦したい。そんな贅沢をかなえてくれる･･･はず！
何せジョン・ペトルーシのためのモデルなので、そういう理想を現実にしてくれるポテンシャルは秘めていると思います。
ところでペトルーシというと DP228 （Crunch Lab ）が知る人ぞ知る･･･かと思います。私はDP228とDP257を両方弾き比べてはみましてが、あまり違いが判りません（笑）何せトーンチャートも出力も差がないので。
ただDP257の方が、漠然としていますが野性味があってオープンならDP228はダークで機械的です。
でも7弦も使用するような低音リフはDP228が強いかな･･･
しかしパッと聞いた感じならば差がないので、DP228からの乗り換えもすんなりいくのではと思います。
