While inheriting the cutting-edge design of the Fireface 800, which was released in 2004 and remains incomparable to current models even 10 years later, the Fireface 802 has evolved even further, offering the fundamental performance worthy of a cutting-edge model, including 30 channels of audio input and output, high-end microphone preamps, reference-class converters, and 192kHz-compatible effect processing.

RME's unique features are generously incorporated, including ultra-low latency RME drivers via USB 2.0 or FireWire, studio-class clock and jitter control, individual reference level settings for all inputs and outputs, and TotalMix FX, which functions as both a digital mixer and router.

The Fireface 802 is an audio interface that highly integrates all the necessary solutions for pro audio into a 19-inch, 1U rack space. It is a milestone product for professionals who refuse to compromise on sound quality, latency, or stability, marking a milestone for the next decade.

USB 2.0: The Fireface 802 is equipped with firmware optimized for Windows and Mac OS X to deliver the best performance. Like the Fireface UCX/UFX, it achieves ultra-low latency comparable to PCI Express (Thunderbolt).
