SENNHEISERのDJヘッドホンといえば「HD25」が圧倒的に定番のDJ業界。
そんなHD25と世代交代だといわんばかりにSENNHEISERが次世代DJヘッドホンとしてリリースしたのが、この「HD8 DJ」。

DJヘッドホンの最上位機種かつ、SENNHEISER密閉型ヘッドホンの最上位機種でもあります。HD25の印象とは打って変わって、近未来感漂うメタリックなデザインと、耳を覆う大口径のイヤーパッドが「HD8 DJ」の特徴です。

デザイン面で個性を発揮できる他、SENNHEISER密閉型ヘッドホン最上位モデルだけあって、低音はDJ用らしい密度の濃い重厚感がすごい。しかも、この重低音に埋もれないクリアな中高音も抜群。

特に、EDMをはじめとするダンス・ミュージック等のデジタル・サウンドには相性の良さが際立っています。シンセサイザーの音は立ち上がりが早く、音の一つひとつが耳に飛び込んでくるよう。これだけ存在感が強くて音数が多く音楽でも音がグチャグチャにならず、すっきりと聴こえる解像度の高さはさすが最上位モデル。

密閉型ヘッドホンの最上位機種ながらも、HD25に比べればまだまだマイナーなヘッドホンのHD8 DJ。影は薄いですが、HD25を超えるか、というくらい良音のおすすめDJヘッドホンです。
