この商品名の語尾にある”W”はホワイトではなく、ワイヤレスの”W”です。なんとBluetoothプレーヤーを内蔵しているので、スマホから直接音源を飛ばして使うことができてしまいます。さらに専用ワイヤレスマイクULM202USBを接続すれば、1本もケーブルを使わずにイベントができてしまうという優れものなんです。アナログのマイクも同時に使えるので最大4本までマイクを使うことができ、全体の音質を補正できるHIGHとLOWの2バンドEQもついているのでアナログミキサーを持って行かなくてもOKです。12インチというこのサイズは、ショッピングモールで行われているライブやイベントで良く見かける大きさで、迫力を出しつつ、移動しやすい軽さから選ばれる方が多いのだと思います。音質は、樹脂製キャビネットの特徴である低域を若干抑えめな分、中高域が聴きやすいという感じでなんにでも使いやすいオールマイティな音です。35mm径のスタンドに立ててメインでも使えるし、もちろん横向きにして下に置いてフロアモニターとしても使えます。もしパワードスピーカーで迷ったら、コレを買っておけば間違いないと自信を持ってオススメできるのがこのB112Wです。
