This model recreates the Rewind PAF recipe originally crafted by Seymour Duncan in the early '70s. Crafted with a rough-cast Alnico 5 magnet and plain enamel wire, this pickup has a slightly hotter output than the vintage model, allowing you to push your amp and get natural compression.

■This ""Whole Lotta Humbucker"" model is inspired by Seymour Duncan's experiences working in London with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and others. Duncan recalls, ""I used to like rewinding pickups with 42-gauge regular enamel wire. I also experimented with more balanced alnico magnets, which gave me a B or high E sound that was just as punchy as any other string. These modifications resulted in a bigger output and more high-frequency response. The ""Whole Lotta Humbucker"" is an exact replica of the pickups I customized during that time.""
