SKBは軍事用や工業用の製品も作っているメーカーだけあって、作りがとても頑丈！外装には軽さと耐衝撃性を兼ね備えたABS樹脂が使われています。内装は柔らかい絨毯のような素材で、その内部に使われているのは硬めの発泡スチロール。内部は楽器の形に沿って忠実にくり抜かれており、楽器をしっかりとホールドします。ケースと楽器との間に隙間がほとんどなく、揺らしても全くガタガタしませんでした。ネックの後ろには小物入れスペースもあり、ピックなど小物の収納に便利です。また、アメリカの空港を利用する際にも安心のTSAロックつき。長距離移動や海外輸送の機会がある方に特におすすめしたいケースです。
