Introducing a good old vintage style model that retains the functionality of the Prophet'08!

■Analog Synthesizer

- In the Prophet'08, all 52 knobs were rotary encoders, whereas in the Prophet'08 PE, 38 of the 52 knobs are potentiometers (volume). Lines are drawn on the top of these knobs, allowing you to see their current position (angle) at a glance.

- Encoders without lines are fine when recalling patches stored in memory, but with pots, there is a discrepancy between the knob position at the time the patch was created and the current knob position. To correct this discrepancy, the Prophet'08 PE offers the following three modes.

- In addition, the [PARAM 1] and [PARAM 2] knobs have been changed to encoders with clicks, allowing for more accurate program selection. *PE stands for Potentiometer Edition.

1: Relative: In this mode, the current knob position is assigned the position (value) at the time of saving.

2: Passthru: In this mode, the actual LCD value changes as soon as the knob is turned and the current knob position matches the saved knob position.
3: Jump: In this mode, turning a knob changes the LCD value relative to the current knob position.
