Have you ever been worried about the following things while doing music activities?
・I have a problem during production, but I have no one to talk to!
・I’m not motivated, I need stimulation
・I want to know what equipment other DTMers use!
・I want someone’s impressions of my song!
・I want a DTMer companion, I want to make a connection
・Because of the remote region, I can't make music friends.
…and so on.
I don't want your music activities to become boring because of these concerns!
I will think about what kind of solutions there are in order to carry out more fulfilling music activities.
First of all, if you look at the problems mentioned above, you can see one action in common that should be taken.
It is "making music companions".
If you have music friends, you can consult with them if you have trouble during production, and you will be able to hear about equipment used by those around you. Also, I think you can get feedback on your own songs.

So how can you make music companions?
To conclude, the author thinks that it is best to use the Internet because the Internet is widespread.
The best thing about the internet is that you can get to know DTMers all over Japan. What's more, you can get to know DTMers all over the world.
It would be a shame not to use such a strong tool.
Then, how should we act even if we are told vaguely to use the Internet? There are many recommended methods, but we will introduce some carefully selected ones.
1. Utilize "music posting sites"
This is recommended when you are not motivated to produce, you want stimulation, or you want your feedback on your song.
Some standard sites include "Sound Cloud" or "Cleo-Fooga". Another option is to use "YouTube".
By uploading your own songs to these sites, you can get comments and "likes" from people who are also making music. If people listen to your song, you will become more motivated.
Not only can you post your own songs on these sites, but you can also listen to exciting music from around the world. If you are making music, I recommend you to try these.

2. Utilize "Twitter"
You want to actively make music friends? This is a tool I recommend. If you use it together with one of the posting sites from #1, your range of activities will expand considerably.
Various events are held on Twitter. For example, #midnight 2 hour DTM.
The organizer provides a theme, and each person will compose something according to the theme in the 2 hours from 22:00 to 24:00. If you compose within 2 hours after the theme is revealed, you can participate even if it is not in the above time zone, and even beginners can participate.
Is the merit of participating in this project that there is a stimulus that is a bit different from the usual production -- a fixed time limit?
In addition, if you participate in this project, the rate of receiving feedback from other participants is quite high, and there is also the advantage that it will be an opportunity to make music friends.
The author is also planning an event.
It is a group called #DTMer Respect Society.

It is a valuable meeting place where DTMers can interact with each other in real time using the Discord chat application. The flow of the meeting is easy to understand if you look at the timetable.
~ Timetable ~
・21: 00 ~ Opening greetings & explanation
・21: 05 ~ 1st song A's song
・21: 25 ~ 2nd song B's song
・21: 45 ~ 3rd song C's song
・22: 05 ~ Chat corner (Consultation about production problems & questions about things that you did not understand during the meeting & DTMer exchange)
・22:30 Closing
Each time, we will exchange opinions with the songs written by three people as the agenda songs. It is a perfect meeting for those who want to share information between themselves and other DTMers (equipment used, etc.), get objective opinions on songs, want to stimulate production, and make music friends.
At the end, there is also a chat corner, where you can talk to your other more experienced DTMers about your concerns about production!
By the way, how to participate:
1. Follow the organizer's account @dmhaha1 on Twitter
2. Click on the URL in the fixed tweet from @dmhaha1.
(The chat app Discord page opens and says "You’re invited by Yui Kikuhana")
3. Please use your own Twitter account name as the name when you enter.
In this way, if you participate in various events held on Twitter, the multiple problems mentioned above will be resolved with a high probability.
I hope this is helpful to those who read it.
