The QUEEN tribute movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" has been released.
As soon as the movie started, I felt that all the actors who played the members look exactly the same as the actual members.
If you watch it, you will notice that the actors studied their characters tremendously, even gestures and their way of talking, in order to imitate them. If you look closely, the faces themselves are not so similar.
When you follow the story and get into the movie, you don't care that their faces are actually not identical and it feels as though they are the real characters themselves.
The highlight is the live scene, which is the climax of the movie. It was an impressive show for generations who watched Live Aid at the time getting goose bumps. It was the best and the last live performance in which QUEEN ever really shined.

I won't go into details as I don’t want this to be a spoiler, but what you see in the back of the live scene is a wall of the guitar amps with the bright "VOX" logo!
The view of the same square-shaped amps piled up is like ROCK. It was only a short scene during the movie, but it was very impressive.
The Beatles were the greatest contributors to the name of VOX in the beginning. From their debut to their disbandment, VOX AMPs were always in their studio, and the VOX logo can be seen in their portraits.
The early Beatles had many impressive guitar riffs, and many of these were given birth through VOX speakers.
After that, many guitarists used VOX amps for rock, and VOX amps became a representative of British amps such that they took over Marshall.
Characterized by its unique midrange and gorgeous high range, VOX has been an indispensable piece of equipment in the rock history.
It supported the famous performances of famous guitarists with excellent sound, sitting behind the artists, creating an era together.
QUEEN guitarist Brian May is known for using the VOX "AC30" amp with his self-made guitar. The AC30 has a black cabinet, a diamond-patterned grill cloth, and a golden logo. The appearance is just elegant.
Brian May played with a lot of cabinets piled up behind him.
It's common to see many Marshall cabinets at a live show these days, but it may have been rare at the time.
I think that it was due to the high aesthetic sense of the band QUEEN.
VOX / AC30
The appearance of Brian May standing with his back against the VOX wall was so impressive. The wall of VOX might the best background stage set.
The AC30 was released back in 1959. It's a model from more than half a century ago.
It is a miracle that this model is still being manufactured though as a successor model, even if the management has changed.
Nowadays, various guitar amplifiers are available at low prices. We are now in the digital age where you can easily create the sound of a tube amp using a sampling sound.
The AC30 is also available in different variations, and the latest model is equipped with the latest control circuit. It has a classic appearance, as did the conventional VOX amps.
Musical instruments like guitars have such a philosophy and aesthetics, and they are interesting though they are not simple equipment. It's nice that VOX is so universal.
The guitar sound in QUEEN's songs hasn't faded at all even now. Guitar-playing kids who listen to QUEEN for the first time will have a longing for the sharp yet warm guitar sound, feeling "I want to make this kind of sound, too!”
The tone they longed for at that time. The VOX logo that shone on the stage. Veteran guitarists will remember the excitement of the time and weep.
I would like to deliver a guitar solo to dedicate to Freddie Mercury using the AC30. It's a good movie that makes you feel sentimental. I really want people of various generations to watch it.
I really recommend this movie to people who like ROCK and people who like music, whether or not you like the song "Bohemian Rhapsody".
If you were in a band when you were young, the lacrimal glands will loosen, so don't forget to bring a handkerchief.
When you finish watching the movie and go home and watch the real QUEEN on the Internet, you will see their stage presence and gestures are much cooler.
It was a great band in music, charisma, and lifestyle.
