This model recreates the PAF sound found in Billy Gibbons' 1959 Les Paul, nicknamed ""Pearly Gates."" It has a slightly hotter output than many PAF copy models. It uses an Alnico 2 magnet, giving it a slightly emphasized midrange tone, creating a distinctive Texas sound.
