■ These round wound strings for acoustic bass use phosphor bronze wound wires. They deliver brilliant tone and extended sustain.
■ Phosphor bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, and the addition of phosphorus improves its strength and corrosion resistance. They produce a rich, sustained sound.
■ The core wire is made of hard, tin-plated hexagonal steel. The windings are resistant to loosening, ensuring a long life and stable pitch.
