Filterbank2 Dual Rack is an analog filter machine that allows for flexible sound creation like a modular synthesizer. It features two analog multi-mode filters. Turning the knobs on each filter allows for continuous change in the sound. Use in conjunction with SYNC mode to recreate even more powerful effects. Two Filterbank2 units are built into each rack-mountable chassis.

■Filterbank2 can be described simply as an ""oscillator-less analog synth."" When an input signal is detected, the ADSR and AR envelopes are triggered, modulating the two VCFs and VCAs. The LFO oscillates at frequencies that reach the audio range, shaking the VCF. Raising the input level produces extreme distortion and aggressive filter resonance. The filter type smoothly transitions from high pass to band pass to low pass. You can also synchronize the harmonics of the two VCFs, vary the connection between serial and parallel, and set the cutoff frequency to track the input signal or the pitch of the FM IN. This is a unique tool that can be freely manipulated, from the smooth filtering characteristic of analog to extreme, completely destructive sounds.
