■JENSEN
JENSEN is a company that sells replacement speaker units for guitar and bass amplifiers. They rose to fame in the 1940s when Fender founder Leo Fender chose JENSEN speakers. While production was temporarily discontinued in the late 1960s, it resumed in the 1990s at the Italian speaker manufacturer SICA Altoparlanti. JENSEN is a pioneer of speaker units that has paved the way for a new era.

■The American vintage tone found in most American amplifiers of the 1960s. It uses a ceramic (ferrite) magnet, developed in the 1960s but now commonplace today. It features a clearer, richer harmonic range, produces a highly sensitive vintage sound, and brings out the full characteristics of the amplifier.

fender系の12インチ小型アンプの交換用としてベストかも

fenderのchamp12のスピーカーの交換用として購入しました。
jensenはfenderもしくはfender系アンプの効果用スピーカーとしては定番ですが、こちらのC12Rはスピーカーサイズが12インチなのに許容入力が25Wとかなり低いのでトランジスタであれば25W真空管なら約8Wまでの出力のアンプで使うものだと思うので需要としてはかなり絞られると思います。
今回の自分の用途も恐らく楽器屋さんやメーカーでは推奨はされない組み合わせかとは思いますが、個人的にchamp12の欠点と感じた部分が改善されるのではと思い購入しました。
狙い通りchamp12のブーミーな低音域が引き締まり巻き弦のプリッとした感じになり、トレブルを上げても出なかったfenderらしいキラキラした帯域も出るようになり満足です。
アンプのボリュームをかなり上げて使う場合はC12Qを推奨します。
