The Control 26CT is a JBL coaxial 2-way full-range speaker for in-ceiling installation. Its high output, wide range, and low distortion deliver clear reproduction from low to high frequencies. Its high sensitivity design of 89dB SPL efficiently outputs pleasant sound. Its high impedance design includes a built-in Sonic Guard circuit that effectively protects the driver from overload.

■ Emotionally rich background music and clear announcements enhance the ambiance of the space. Pairing them with a subwoofer of the same design enables powerful, full-bodied low-frequency reproduction.

■ The low-frequency driver uses a butyl rubber edge, providing high durability even in humid environments.

■ Low-impedance and high-impedance models for constant-voltage transmission systems are available. The high-impedance Control 24CT/26CT/19CST models feature transformer tap switching from the front of the speaker.

■ The surround and grille can be painted to match the design of the installation location. A shield is included to protect the speaker during painting.

■ The input connectors on the Control 24C/CT, Control 26C/CT, and Control 19CS/CST use detachable Euroblock connectors, allowing wiring to be done before installing the speakers. A terminal for loop-through connection is also provided.

■C-shaped support brackets and support rails are included to reinforce the ceiling on which the unit is installed.

■The enclosure complies with the IP-34 protection rating (IEC 60529), which measures the degree of dust and water resistance of the enclosure, preventing wires and solid objects with a diameter of 2.5 mm or more from entering the enclosure and protecting it from harmful effects from water splashes from any direction (except the Control 26-DT)*.
