The 510T series prioritizes tremolo functionality over traditional synchro tremolos. To ensure the strength and wear resistance of the arm and edge, which are the origin of movement, the plate is made of chrome-molybdenum steel. It is precision-machined and finished with a high-level heat treatment. The bolt, which serves as the fulcrum for movement, is available in two types: a six-point type similar to a synchro tremolo, and an anchor nut type featuring a stud-lock mechanism (patented) that secures the clearance between the anchor nut and bolt, eliminating sound transmission loss to the body. Additionally, to eliminate friction between the strings and plate, the 510TS is equipped with a block featuring the FST mechanism (PAT.), which hollows out the strings between the saddle and the block, and a power spring to keep the unit neutral, eliminating any distortion in tone when using the arm. The 510TS comes standard with a steel block, a feature that was highly requested.
