In addition to the full tap tempo function of the previous model, the Belle Epoch Black and Silver, it now offers three tape age programs that reproduce a wide range of textures, from brand new to 40-year-old tape. The enhanced preamp and buffer deliver high dynamic range and clear sound quality. This is truly a next-generation echo unit that pursues classic echo sound while also being easy to use today.

The Catalinbread Belle Epoch+ is a faithful, tape-free reproduction of the Maestro Echoplex EP-3, one of the most famous tape delays of all time. It adds a full tap tempo function and numerous other upgrades. [LF]

More than just a digital delay with a filter, this compact pedal incorporates all the defining elements of tape echo: the EP-3's unique preamp, self-oscillation characteristics, level control of the signal recorded to tape, wow and flutter, repeat decay, and interaction with amplifiers and other pedals.
