Variations

The KH 150 is a new-generation, DSP-equipped, two-way monitor speaker that supports calibration using the MA 1 (sold separately). It features a 6.5"" woofer and a 1"" woofer, bi-amped with 145W and 100W amplifiers, respectively. It incorporates numerous unique NEUMANN monitor mechanisms to achieve a wide, linear frequency response and sound.

KH 150のラインナップ

KH 150は、通常モデルと、AES 67デジタル接続に対応したAES 67モデルがあります。さらに両モデルに通常カラーとホワイトカラーがあり、合計で4機種のラインナップです。左右の指定はありません。なお、通常モデルに記載されている「EU/KC」は販売地域（仕向け）を表すもので、他国のNeumann Webサイトではいくつかの仕向けが確認できますが、日本向けのNeumann Webサイトでは日本国内で使用可能なモデルのみ掲載されていますので、ご安心ください。

通常モデルとAES67モデルは、イーサネット端子の数が異なりますが、それ以外の外観・仕様は同じです。通常モデルのイーサネット端子はキャリブレーション機能にのみ対応し、ネットワークオーディオへの接続はできません。

39Hzからの低域再生能力と高いSPL能力

レコーディングやミキシングを行うためには低域から高域まで脚色なく再生する能力が求められます。KHシリーズはサイズを超えた豊かな低域再生が魅力ですが、KH 150は39Hzからの低域再生を実現。大型の3ウェイモデルKH 310（DSP非搭載）の性能（34Hz〜）に迫る特性で、サブウーハー無しでも十分な低域再生能力を持っています。

高い再生能力は数々の独自技術が支えています。キャビネットはコンピューター・シミュレーションをベースに設計され、パイプ共振減衰を考慮した高性能バスレフポートを搭載。ユニット自体にはロングスロー・ウーハーが採用されています。

さらに最大SPLは112.7dB SPLを誇り、3ウェイモデルのKH 310を上回ります。KH 150は、高音圧レベルを必要とするスタジオに最適なKHスピーカーなのです。

リスニングポイントが広い実用的な指向性

コンピューター・シミュレーションによるキャビネットデザインの恩恵は低域にとどまりません。特徴的なツイーター周囲のくぼみはMMDウェーブガイドで、音が広がる角度（指向性）を緻密にコントロールしています。

横方向の指向性は広く調整されているため、たとえばデスク脇のキーボードを弾きながら音を聞いてもベストポジションを広く確保することができます。ミキシング用途だけでなく、制作中の移動が多い作曲や編曲などの用途にも使いやすいスピーカーです。

縦方向は狭く設計しているためデスクトップへの設置でも天井や床による反射の影響を受けにくくなっています。

AES67ネットワークオーディオ接続に対応

Dolby Atmos等の多チャンネルモニターシステムの構築に便利なAES67ネットワークオーディオの接続に対応しています。AES67を使用すれば、LANケーブルを接続するだけでオーディオの結線が完了します。

AES67の初期設定では、グループ会社であるMERGING TECHNOLOGYのMT Discoveryソフトウェアを使用します。Dante機器に接続する場合は、Dante機器側（Dante Controller）でAES67互換が必要です。導入前に使用する機器間の仕様をご確認ください。

別売りのMA 1マイクを使用したオートマチックモニターアライメントに対応

KH 150は優れたモニターサウンドが聞けるスピーカーですが、MA 1測定用マイク（別売）を使用したオートマチックモニターアライメント（Automatic Monitor Alignment）に対応します。KHモニタースピーカー、MA 1（別売）とAutomatic Monitor Alignment Software（MA 1にバンドル）を使用したモニター環境は、様々な試聴環境で最高のサウンドを実現します。Automatic Monitor Alignment Softwareはスタンドアロンのソフトウェアで、イーサネットを介してPCと接続します。このソフトウェアは、その他の特別なオーディオドライバーを必要としません。

その効果は誰もが頷く仕上がりで、一度KH 150とMA 1で調整されたサウンドを聞くと、オートマチック・モニター・アライメント無しには戻れないでしょう。KH 150を導入する場合は、ぜひ同時にMA 1マイクを購入されることをお勧めします。

イマーシブオーディオや常設に対応するブラケット対応

KH 150は背面にブラケット用のネジ穴を備え、純正オプションとして様々なブラケットを用意しています。常設機器としての設置や、イマーシブオーディオにおける天井へのスピーカー設置など、様々なシチュエーションに対応します。

The KH 150 not only fills a gap in the KH series, but also delivers the high-performance DSP features expected of a new model. The newly developed 6.5-inch woofer, developed over three years, boasts greater reproduction accuracy than any other model currently on the market. The KH 150's linear frequency response is an astonishing 39 Hz to 21 kHz (±3 ) with a linear phase response. It boasts stunningly transparent midrange and exceptional time-domain accuracy, ensuring accurate impulse reproduction and reliable elimination of reverberation. This is made possible by DSP-controlled electronics, and advanced crossovers eliminate phase distortion inherent in analog filters. ■AES67 Standard for Interoperability Between Audio-Over-IP Protocols

The KH 150 AES67 variant features redundant AES67 audio network ports that are 100% compliant with broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7, and RAVENNA. It is also compatible with AES67 network streams generated by DANTER.

■Excellent Energy Efficiency
Neumann's engineering team focused on developing patent-pending amplifier technology to achieve both outstanding audio performance and Class D energy efficiency. KH The 150's amplifier delivers up to 145W to the 6.5"" woofer and 100W to the 1"" tweeter, while consuming only 17W of power when idle. Automatic standby reduces power consumption to 0.3W when not in use, but this feature can be disabled.

■Installation
Most accessories compatible with the KH 120 are compatible with the KH 150. The exception is the LH 65 table stand; a slightly larger version, the LH 66, is now available for the KH 150 (Cat. No. 700258). Because the KH 150 is slightly heavier and larger than the KH 120, the LH 61 (L-bracket) has also been improved. Furthermore, the LH 64 (VESA mount) has been adjusted to accommodate the KH 150's controls. There are no changes to the order numbers.
