＜＜Sep 2025 New Product！＞＞ The PMC8-2 sub-R is a large, full-band, high-resolution subwoofer for reference monitoring in professional environments (right).

Like the PMC 8 SUB, the PMC 8-2 SUB is a low-frequency monitor and features the same DSP engine to work seamlessly with surround/immersive systems. It offers higher performance than the PMC 8 SUB, with an output SPL down to 25 Hz. The cabinet is the same size as the PMC 8-2, allowing for seamless stacking. Two 8"" bass drivers are driven by independent 400W Class-D amplifiers. DSP functions include spatially corrective EQ, parametric EQ, time delay, phase reverse, and a unique XBD mode, controlled from the unit's rear panel or via the browser-based SoundAlign software.

The PMC 8-2 SUB can be used as a standalone subwoofer in multi-channel systems, in multi-channel immersive systems, or as an XBD cabinet (midfield monitor) in combination with the PMC 6-2 or PMC 8-2.
Left and right cabinets (PMC 8-2 SUB-L and PMC 8-2 SUB-R) are available, allowing the bass drivers to be placed outside the stereo array to match the placement of the main monitors.
