The PMC 6-2's scale, depth, and dynamics will improve your mixing workflow, increasing efficiency and confidence, while helping you work stress-free.

The PMC 6-2 is a 3-way active monitor speaker that combines two custom 6"" extra-long-throw bass drivers, a 2"" soft-dome PMC55 midrange unit, and a precision-crafted 1"" soft-dome tweeter.

The PMC55's signature N-compass waveguide improves the driver's dispersion and mid-frequency projection. This, combined with the tweeter's high performance, delivers a wide, stable sound image with smooth, comfortable response.

A state-of-the-art 400W Class-D amplifier drives each bass driver individually, and they are seamlessly linked using PMC's precision DSP-based crossover.

The PMC 6-2 offers excellent value for money, delivering superior low-frequency extension and stable frequency response unaffected by volume changes thanks to its ATL® bass loading technology. PMC's Laminair® airflow technology, using hexagonal vents, reduces sound coloration and enhances dynamics.

Calibration
As with the PMC 6, calibration can be performed using the controls on the rear panel or SoundAlign® software, accessible via a browser.

Upgrade to an XBD System for Extended Low End
Upgrade to a full-range XBD system by adding a PMC 8.2 SUB. Enabling the ""XBD"" DSP mode allows the two units to work together perfectly, delivering clean low frequencies down to 25 Hz.
