Tech 21 aimed to embody Marty's tone in a compact, simple, plug-and-play format. For him, music is the centerpiece, without excessive features or complex controls. Intuitive, easy-to-use, yet uncompromising sound—that's the philosophy behind this signature pedal.

This Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp is a programmable model featuring pre-loaded presets of his signature clean, drive, and lead tones. Controls are similar to the SansAmp PSA 2.0, with two modes for different applications.

Performance Mode allows for instant switching of sounds during live performances, with three main presets instantly accessible. Meanwhile, Studio Mode is ideal for detailed sound shaping in the studio, allowing you to save and manage up to 128 custom presets.

Operation is incredibly intuitive, with each knob changing the sound in real time, allowing you to smoothly create your desired tone without any specialized knowledge. Once you've settled on your settings, simply press the ""Save"" button to save. It's designed for ease of use, yet delivers professional-grade sound.

In the studio, you can use the Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp for direct recording, to polish existing tracks during mixdown, or to add unique accents to various instruments.

For live performances, it can be used as a preamp connected to a power amp and speaker cabinet, or as a ""monster direct box"" that sends directly to a PA system. It can also output both simultaneously, functioning as an outboard processor. This highly versatile unit can be adapted to suit a variety of applications.

Controls include reverb, 3-band active EQ, drive, and level. It also features an adjustable gate that smoothly smooths the signal rather than abruptly cutting it.

The ""Filter"" control adjusts the tone character, focusing on the midrange, and is voicing optimized for Marty's unique sound. Its design allows for precise control over subtle nuances, allowing you to tailor your sound to your individual needs.
