You can also route the same audio source to all four outputs simultaneously or in any combination. It's an ideal, affordable tool for passive monitor switching, headphone distribution, parallel effects routing, and more. Its 100% passive design ensures zero impact on the signal's timbre. Flexible ground lifts are available internally on each channel.

■Multipurpose Toolbox
Though small and simple, the LS-4 offers endless practical and creative possibilities. Typical uses include:

- Passive monitor switching (with subwoofer switching):
Connect three sets of studio monitors to outputs A, B, and C, respectively, and a subwoofer to output D.

- Headphone distribution:
Connect the headphone output of your audio interface to the input of the LS-4, and connect all outputs of the LS-4 to a headphone amplifier.

- Auditioning an effects chain:
Send a dry signal to the input of the LS-4 and connect different effects processors to outputs A-D. By connecting the processor outputs to the inputs of your audio interface, you can audition the different effects processors on the signal by simply pressing buttons A-D.

- Parallel effects routing:
Connect the hardware as shown above. This setup also allows you to record all four parallel-processed signals into your DAW simultaneously.
