SONICAKE/BOOM Ave. offers four basic effects for bass players: gain/compressor, fuzz, preamp, and octave effect.

The gain/compression function is very intuitive, featuring both a volume gain and a compressor. The fuzz is standard—think of it as a Russian Muff-like tone with a few EQ adjustments. The preamp is a classic option, designed as an homage to the legendary Ampeg sound.

The octave effect is a double-low octave style that adds a sound one octave lower to the original signal. You can adjust the mix ratio between the original signal (clean tone) and the octave signal.

In addition, the preamp section has a built-in FX loop, allowing you to add your favorite effects to the chain. It also has an XLR output, allowing you to send a balanced signal directly to an audio interface or mixer.
