Brown Sound 78/79 centers around a 1968 Marshall Super Lead (Serial No. 12301) and the ""The One"" amplifier, which has identical specifications. Combining confirmed setups, including multiple voltage settings, cabinets, and speakers, with hypotheses based on Jim Gaustad's research, the collection features 50 Tone Models that capture not only the gear but also the energy, feel, and raw sonic essence of the moment when the 1978 and 1979 albums defined a new genre in rock history. This collection is available as a bonus to all registered purchasers of TONEX Brown Sound White, Red, and Yellow.

Brown Sound 80/81 captures the dark feel and heavy edge that marked a turning point in the guitarist's development. This collection includes 50 Tone Models, including meticulously configured combinations of 1960B cabinets, G12-65 speakers, and Sylvania 6CA7 vacuum tubes to recreate the tones from the 1980 and 1981 album recordings, as well as individual amp captures. Brown Sound 82/84 perfectly captures the sharp, passionate tone of the 1982 and 1984 albums, which were the creative peak of Brown's career. This collection includes 50 Tone Models, including individual amp captures.
