Unlike traditional EQs, this filter provides steep filtering at 24dB per octave in the range of 38Hz-310Hz (Low) / 330Hz-15kHz (High). Simply adjust the high pass if the lows are too pronounced, or the low pass if the top end is too harsh, to create a tight, defined sound.
