FiiO / FD3 Black

The FIIO FD3 is the core model of FIIO's dynamic driver in-ear monitors (IEMs), inheriting the technology from the higher-end model FD5.

■12mm large diameter dynamic driver with DLC diaphragm
・The newly designed 12mm dynamic driver uses the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) diaphragm used in the high-end model FD5. By combining a strong magnetic flux density of 1.5 Tesla with a voice coil made by Daikoku in Japan, it achieves excellent driving power and ultra-high sensitivity. The extremely high rigidity and light weight of DLC minimizes distortion and exhibits excellent transient characteristics.

■"Acoustic Prism System" that achieves ideal acoustic characteristics
・Equipped with the "Acoustic Prism System" that was highly praised in the high-end model FD5. It brings many acoustic benefits, such as eliminating high-frequency standing waves, enhancing the diffusion of sound waves, and solving the problem of delay due to sound wave propagation paths, and realizes a more natural and clear sound.

■"Semi-open structure" that achieves natural sound and comfortable fit
・FIIO's unique semi-open structure effectively exhausts the air pressure inside the cabinet. This allows the driver to move smoothly and creates a more natural sound. In addition, the pressure balance in the ear canal allows for hearing protection and comfortable listening for long periods of time.

■Control the sound with user-replaceable sound guides
・Equipped with a replaceable sound guide used in the higher-end model FD5. By changing the two types of sound guides with different inner diameters (black for high frequencies and red for balance), you can tune the sound to your liking.

■Luxurious design and high-quality standard cable
・The faceplate uses a celluloid panel covered with 2.5D film-coated glass to achieve a luxurious and transparent look. The body is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy with a combination of 5-axis CNC processing and hand polishing, giving it a simple and beautiful appearance.
・The FD3 comes with a 4-strand high-purity single crystal copper cable with a total of 120 cores.

■High-resolution audio certification and abundant accessories
・The FD3/FD3 Pro have obtained high-resolution audio certification from the Japan Audio Society. In addition, a wide range of accessories are included, including ear tips with a focus on balance, bass, and vocals, foam ear tips, a cleaning brush, a carrying case, and an MMCX assist tool.
