Bias voltage that brings out the best in sound quality
The CRBN2 requires an amplifier that uses a bias voltage of 580 VDC (commonly known as ‘Stax Pro Bias’) to achieve the highest sound quality possible in an electrostatic headphone. This high-voltage drive is the reason why the CRBN2 delivers sound of unparalleled precision and presence. For best performance, a combination with a suitable amplifier is recommended.
