The intime ‘Sho’ is a flagship model that combines 3rd generation VST2 and HDSS technology to create a natural, clear and vast sound field. High-grade parts such as the titanium enclosure, OFC PentaconnEar and silver-coated 8-core balanced cable were used sparingly in a thorough pursuit of sound quality and comfort.

■ 3rd generation VST2 & coaxial construction
Nickel diaphragm with piezoceramic between the top and bottom improves the sound pressure sensitivity in the ultra-high frequency range. Co-axial arrangement prevents high-frequency degradation and realises a vast sound field.

Titanium alloy enclosure
The highly rigid and lightweight titanium enclosure ensures an extremely fast sound rise, with both a grainy sound and a dynamic resonance.

OFC PentaconnEar connectors
Significantly reduced contact resistance compared to conventional connectors, with the use of OFC minimising transmission loss and avoiding sound quality degradation due to connection.

Silver-coated OFC balanced cable
High-purity OFC silver-coated cable with an 8-core structure is used. Reproduces a wide sound field with a sense of localisation, separation and presence.

■Original aluminium slider
Adopts a slider jointly developed with Nippon Dics. Reduces touch noise and provides comfort. Serial engraving on the slider proves its quality.

Hybrid of pure silver and high-purity copper for internal wiring
Different conductors for HOT/COLD are used to minimise bandwidth balance and signal loss. Achieves both mid-high frequency extension and tight bass.

■3rd generation HDSS optimisation
Controls internal reflections using the latest HDSS technology for a natural and less tiring sound, and also provides ‘good clarity’ by adjusting compatibility with VST2.
