The Argo takes inspiration from the now legendary COB fuzzbox and pushes it in a slightly more aggressive direction. This Octave Up Fuzz has a tone that's very familiar to all the classic records we know and love, but it has one feature that those vintage units didn't have: a blend control.

Argo's blend knob makes it very versatile and allows you to create more interesting tones.
The Argo is great as a standalone fuzz box, but its blending feature allows you to combine it with other gain pedals to achieve sounds you wouldn't normally get from a single unit. It also has a ton of output so you can push any amp as far as you want.

The Argo uses higher gain transistors than the pedal that inspired it. This not only gives you a super intense fuzz sound when you want it, but it also gives the unit more flexibility. The fuzz control simply adjusts the amount of fuzz, and the octave sound is everywhere. You can use this to get an independent octave up sound. As with other traditional pedals of this type, the octave is most pronounced above the 9th fret in the neck pickup.


Like all Mythos pedals, it uses high-quality panel mount In, Out, and DC jacks, so the pedal remains reliable.
