TEXTURE PEDALS Take a close look at the pedals and make them your own
This effect book features “texture pedals”. Even if you say ""texture type"", many people will probably think ""?"". That should be it. “Texture-type” is a general term that refers to pedals that create effects such as glitch, granular, stutter, and lo-fi, which have recently gained attention. The editorial department came up with the name for the special feature (although it had been called that way in some quarters for some time). In short, it's a pedal that allows the guitar to use the noise-like flavor originally used in techno and electronica. This is the type of product that provides a ""texture"" that gives songs a great hook. For example, it might be easier to understand if you think of Radiohead numbers after ""Kid A."" As these effects are new, many of the pedals introduced in this special feature have yet to be determined how to utilize them. It may be difficult to use if the user does not have musical creativity, but it is worth the challenge. If you can figure out how to use it properly, there is no doubt that it will add a unique spice to the music you play. We've sprinkled hints on how to do this in each section of the special feature, so please read it over and over again and use it as fuel for your creativity!
