"EMPEROR" is the third IEM concept model planned and developed in 2023 to allow more people to experience qdc's unique technology, ergonomic shape, and accurate sound that have been honed through the production of numerous custom IEMs.

・qdc boasts a share of over 70% in the Chinese professional audio market as a custom IEM for stage monitors. In order to allow more people to experience the unique technology, ergonomic shape, and accurate sound that have been honed through the production of numerous custom IEMs, we planned and developed a concept model IEM in 2023. `` EMPEROR '' is the third IEM of this concept model. The first concept model, WHITE TIGER, focuses on the delicate sound intensity expression and positioning of qdc IEMs, and the second entry, SUPERIOR, focuses on allowing more people to experience the fitting, sound response speed, and sub-bass reproduction unique to professional custom IEM brands. And the third, EMPEROR, is a high-end planned concept model that brings all of these together and was newly developed to allow more people to experience the best of qdc's IEM technology that has been cultivated so far. Under the slogan [Unite sound pieces, Be Majestic], we have gathered the best of qdc's IEM technology and brought the name of the emperor to life. Experience the majestic sound of EMPEROR, which is named after the emperor.

■ Equipped with dynamic driver for ultra-low frequency, tribrid 15 driver configuration
・ EMPEROR is equipped with 5 sound channels / 5-way crossover, tribrid 15 driver (one side). Based on 4 electrostatic (EST) drivers for ultra-high frequencies and a total of 10 balanced armature (BA) drivers, including 4 high-frequency, 2 mid-frequency, and 4 low-frequency, it adopts qdc's unique multi-tube filtering technology used in the flagship Anole V14. This allows adjacent frequency bands to be adjusted without interfering with each other, achieving crosstalk suppression and accurate tuning and phase. In addition, a highly sensitive ultra-low frequency dynamic driver with a customized 10mm diameter composite diaphragm is installed for ultra-low frequency reproduction. Adopting qdc's unique Dmagic acoustic structure used in Dmagic 3D, the independent acoustic cavity and sound guide tube prevent sound interference between the dynamic driver and other drivers in the space inside the housing, achieving left-right consistency and flat characteristics. This gives EMPEROR an ultra-wideband frequency response range of 5Hz-70KHz.

■Majestic and energetic sound, realization of a fit comparable to a custom IEM
・The sound of EMPEROR is tuned with the concept of energetic image of a majestic emperor who unites the country. It is characterized by accurate and sharp sound that emphasizes transient characteristics, and a moderate reverberation of the sub-bass using a dynamic driver. In addition, even if the shell becomes large due to the installation of multiple drivers, the shell shape designed by qdc, which has a large amount of ear shape data and research, and the included qdcTips Soft-fit earpieces achieve a fit comparable to a custom IEM despite being a universal IEM.

■Highly compatible custom IEM 2pin connector and 3in1 multi-plug cable

・The connector of the concept model EMPEROR uses a custom IEM 2pin connector (0.78mm). Unlike the qdc 2pin connector normally used for professionals, it has high cable compatibility (※), making it easier for audio enthusiasts to expand the enjoyment of portable audio. The included cable is a premium cable with a chic black coating that is easy to handle and uses pure silver and pure copper for the conductor, and the plug part is equipped with a 3in1 multi-plug (L-shaped type) that allows easy switching between unbalanced and balanced connections. The cover part of the IEM 2pin connector has a special connector shape that matches the large shell size of EMPEROR, improving the fitting of the ear hook part.

<※Caution> When re-cabling, please make sure that the diameter of the IEM 2pin is 0.78mm and suitable for the specifications of this product before using it. If you use a re-cable with a 2pin diameter that is thinner than the specifications of this product, the product itself may easily come off and there is a risk of it falling. On the other hand, if a thicker cable is used, the connector may break or become loose. Connector damage or other abnormalities caused by recabling are not covered by the warranty, so please be careful and understand before using.

■Newly designed original logo and Abalone faceplate
The EMPEROR design expresses the golden scales of the Yellow Dragon, the king of the four gods in China and the emperor, in a gold frame, and the newly designed original logo expresses the central position of the five elements. The faceplate design uses Abalone, which is inspired by the Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou, a prominent world heritage site.

This product uses an Abalone design for the faceplate, and due to its characteristics, the direction and color of the pattern on the faceplate will vary from product to product. Please note that we cannot accept product exchanges due to design reasons.
