VP4 is Fractal Audio Systems' advanced VIRTUAL PEDALBOARD processor.

This compact multi-effects pedal features user-friendly operation inspired by effects pedal legends, with four pedals per preset. Its sound quality is based on the ultimate modeling system, Axe-Fx III, which includes hundreds of classic stompbox and studio effect models such as Drive, Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Pitch, Plex, EQ, Compressor, Wah, Tremolo, and more.
VP4 combines ease of use with outstanding performance, providing musicians with a high-quality, versatile effects tool. With a pristine signal path and a compact, rugged design built for the rigors of concert touring, it delivers world-class multi-FX processing to take your sound to the next level.

Uncompromising sound quality:

4 footswitches:
Classic-style, the VP4's ON/OFF switch is as easy and intuitive as four traditional effects pedals. Meanwhile, the factory ""Gig Mode"" switching system puts Preset, Scene, Effect, Channel, Tuner, and Tap Tempo at your feet.

104 presets:
One preset functions as a complete pedalboard with four effects. So imagine one VP4 as 104 pedalboards with four pedals. Additionally, each Preset has an independent Noise Gate, Master EQ/Level, etc.

Compatibility with expression pedals:
You can connect up to two expression pedals or switches to control parameters in real time.
*Fractal Audio Systems EV-1 and EV-2 are recommended.

Accurate tuner:
VP4 features a dedicated large display tuner mode and a convenient ""mini tuner"" that is always visible. These tuners feature the same advanced pitch detectors as the Axe-Fx III.

Flexible and high-quality connectivity:
The ultra-low noise, unity-gain analog interface (MONO/STEREO compatible) supports ""4CM mode"", which allows effects to be placed before and after the guitar amp. It also features buffered analog bypass, SPDIF digital I/O, MIDI I/O, and USB audio.

Pedalboards beyond the basics:
For those looking to go beyond a basic pedalboard, the VP4 is highly customizable using features familiar from Fractal Audio Systems devices such as Scene, Channel, and Modifier.

VP4-Edit:
Like all Fractal Audio Systems products, VP4 Edit comes with a free companion editor and librarian called VP4-Edit.

Upgradable firmware:
