Ultra-high-performance reverb has greatly evolved

R1 MKII is an extremely powerful and versatile multi-functional reverb with six customized studio-class programs: Spring, Hall, Plate, BFR, RFRCT (Refract), and Air. All programs have a wide range of sound options, from subtle room reverbs to experimental, space-filling, dreamy reverbs. R1 provides great inspiration for creating new songs and phrases.

■PROGRAMS
Spring
Spring emulates the “springy” spring reverb found in classic tube amps.
vinegar. Easily set from a modest spring sound to a full-fledged surf rock tone to even more extreme tones.
Noh. Turn the Decay knob to explore experimental sounds that aren't found in traditional spring reverbs.

Hall
Hall simulates the acoustics of large venues such as concert halls and arenas. A longer decay and higher size on the right encoder will give you a flood of reverb. Shorter decay and lower size settings allow for small-space reverb sounds.

Plate
Plate is based on famous plate reverbs such as the EMT140 (ElektroMess Technik, Germany).
emulates an analog plate reverb with a smooth, even spread.

BFR
BFR is Big, fxxking, Reverb. This is more than just a giant arena reverb. It's like a choir of angels
A rich, decay-filled hall-like reverb that sounds like a tree in a vast cave.

Refract
RFRCT achieves beautiful, appealing, glitch-like textures by producing a granular delay module with a controllable amount of reverb. Use the DIFFUSE control to set the amount of reverb from dry to heavily diffuse. The RATE control below the left encoder allows you to set how often new particles are generated. The DEPTH control below the left encoder sets the modulation applied to the particles, including reverse, particle regeneration, and modulation.

Air
The Air program is a spacious reverb mode with a slight shimmer that provides clearer response to decay.
It is characterized by tone. Look for shimmer sounds that build up slowly and don't get in the way of your playing. You can also create keyboard or synthesizer-like tones.

■PRESETS
R1 MKII has a total of 128 preset slots. To access presets, press the left and center encoders at the same time. The first nine presets can be selected from banks A/B/C and can be accessed directly from the pedal using BYPASS and TAP/SKIP switch preset switching. All 128 presets can be accessed via MIDI program change messages
