MOOER / Prime S1

The Mooer Prime S1 features four footswitches in an ultra-compact, lightweight size and contains 126 guitar effects, drum machines and loopers. This multi-effect pedal can be powered by the internal battery. This new generation of multi-effects pedal uses a dedicated mobile app for detailed effects settings.

High-quality Bluetooth audio functionality

■Output volume adjustment.
Adjust the overall volume with the MASTER knob on the side panel.

■ Preset selection
Display: the LCD screen shows the currently selected preset.
Preset bank selection: press footswitches A and B simultaneously to bank down, and C and D simultaneously to bank up.
Selecting a preset: use footswitches A/B/C/D to select a preset in the current bank.

■ Drum machine/looper.
Press footswitch B and registration C simultaneously to switch between preset control mode and looper mode.

■ Looper.
REC: Press footswitch A to enter recording standby mode; S1 will automatically start recording when the first note is detected.

PLAY: When the loop is in REC/STOP status, press footswitch A to play the loop.

DUB: During loop PLAY, press footswitch A to start DUB (overdub).

STOP: In REC/PLAY/DUB status, pressing footswitch B stops playback and recording.

Delete: Press and hold footswitch B to delete a recorded track.

Play/Stop: footswitch D toggles drum machine playback/stop.

TAP: enter tap mode with footswitch C and set the tempo with the tap tempo.

Select drum groove: press and hold footswitch C for more than 2 seconds, the LEDs on footswitches C and D will flash. The drum groove can be selected with footswitches C and D.

-SYNC mode.
SYNC OFF: When SYNC mode is OFF, the looper and drum machine do not synchronise with each other. The looper will start recording on input signal input, but the drum machine will not start automatically.

SYNC ON: When SYNC mode is ON, pressing footswitch A causes the drum machine to count in 4 and then the looper starts recording. Recording and drum machine start automatically. When the looper stops recording, the drum machine also stops. When the looper restarts, the drum machine also restarts.
The drum machine speed and groove settings must be finished before recording starts. They cannot be changed during recording. (The drum machine can be muted during recording, but cannot be stopped.)

■ Tuner.
When in preset mode, pressing and holding one of the footswitches for one second activates the tuner.

■USB-OTG
Prime S1 allows USB-OTG for USB direct recording to mobile phones and tablets. You can also monitor sound from the OUTPUT or headphone out.
The OTG recording output level, audio playback level and instrument input level can be adjusted from the app's MIXER menu.
*Use a USB-C to USB-A cable for the OTG cable.

■Power supply.
Power ON/OFF: Use the POWER switch to switch the power on and off.

Battery management: When the device is switched on, the battery indicator shows the remaining battery charge. Charge the battery via the USB port.

-Charge: the charge indicator lights up when the power supply is connected. When charging is complete, the indicator replaces green.
