The Morgan JS12 is a 12-watt Josh Smith signature amp.

The Morgan JS12 Josh Smith Signature Amp started years ago when Josh asked us to build him a killer little wattage amp that he could use while playing behind Mick Jagger at the Grammys. The JS12 includes all the mods Josh wanted for his personal PR12. A hand-applied aged lacquer finish is standard on this model, as are custom Eminence JS1250 speakers designed specifically to Josh's exacting standards. Josh also asked us to include a boost switch in case he needed a little more juice in his amp sound.

The JS12 starts off with a classic tone and beefs up the low end by giving the amp more power. The reverb has also been modified, with the addition of a Dwell control. The Dwell control allows you to control the amount of reverb decay. This allows you to achieve very high reverb mixes.

Also, the addition of a 3db boost switch gives you more grit at lower volume levels. This amp is Josh's go-to amp whenever he's in the studio or on the battlefield at a gig, and it's compact and has enough volume to overwhelm any drummer.
