CATALINBREAD / SINKHOLE

The Catalinbread SINKHOLE is Catalinbread's most magical reverb unit ever. It combines an overtone-rich ‘Hole’ reverb with a 4-voice chorus with a gentle high-cut filter and feedback control.

Controls: FDBCK, MOD, VERB, MIX, VOL.
FDBCK: This control has two functions. It adjusts the amount of feedback in the chorus circuit and the depth of the chorus itself. This allows you to create a wide variety of results.
-MIX: Adjusts the balance between the wet and dry signals. When set to minimum, only the clean tone of the onboard preamp is present, and when set to maximum, it is all reverb.
MOD: Adjusts the chorus modulation speed. When set to minimum, the LFO is slowed down to a barely perceptible speed. Higher settings have a more dramatic effect.
VERB: Adjusts the decay time of the reverb. When set to maximum, the sustain is close to infinity.
VOL: Adjusts the gain level of the onboard preamp. Can be used as a high-quality clean boost with or without reverb. Higher settings may result in slight clipping depending on the combination of guitar and other pedals; driven at 18V, it provides more headroom.
Internal switch: an internal slide switch allows you to switch between true bypass and buffered bypass. True bypass (T.B.) immediately cuts the reverb when the effect is bypassed, while buffered bypass (BUFF.) leaves the last reverb in place when the effect is bypassed.
