Variations

The Custombucker uses Alnico 3 magnets to accurately reproduce the warm, sweet tone of the early humbucker. It is an unbalanced coil specification that deliberately does not match the number of windings of the two coils. It is not potted. The Custombucker Underwound is a variation model that clears up the overtones and harmonics by reducing the number of windings of the Custombucker.

PAFの音当時こんな音していたのかなって思わせてくれます。

抵抗値が7,2Ωなのでフロントに取りつけました、リードは、カスタムバッカーゼブラ8Ωで鳴らしています。「あの方」の音にかなり近いですかね。アルニコ3の特性なのでしょうか、今まで57クラッシック、バーストバッカー2と3を使っていたのですがゲインを上げると音がグシャって感じがして何か違うと感じていましたが、カスタムバッカーは、歪みすぎずピックアタックが心地よく今の自分には、ピッタリはまりましたね。ヴィンテージ61年のSGのPAFを所有しています、比較すると高域の抜けが似ているように感じますね。全く同じという事は、ありえないので後は、自分の耳を信じて音作りをしたいと考えています。結局カスタムバッカーは、気に入ったので6個ギター3本分購入しました。
