NEUMANN / NDH 30, which has established its position as a reference headphone in many studios around the world, now comes in black color. This product was created with the aim of reproducing the KH monitor speakers adjusted with MA 1 and Automatic Monitor Alignment, which are becoming standard in studios, by improving the NDH 20 closed-back monitor headphones.

低音域のレスポンスとリニアリティを向上させた新開発のドライバー

NDH 30 Black Editionはネオジム磁石を用いた38mmのダイナミック型ドライバーを採用。これは先行して販売されているNDH 20と同じドライバーに見えますが、NDH 20と異なる新開発のドライバーが採用されています。

NDH 20はゼンハイザーの特許技術を含むDoufol（デュオフォール）膜を用いたドライバーが採用されており、インパルス応答を良くする硬いホイルと、部分的な共振を減衰させる柔らかいホイルの2枚の箔を積層して使用しました。

NDH 30 Black Editionに採用された新開発の膜は、NDH 20のDoufol（デュオフォール）膜が2枚の膜で生み出していた特長を1枚の膜で実現。共振周波数を低くしたことで低音域のレスポンスとリニアリティを向上させることに成功し、剛性と部分共振の減衰により過渡応答を向上させました。

NDH 30 Black Editionに採用された新ドライバーによって、KHモニタースピーカーのような高い解像度と鋭い定位感を実現しました。

さらなる低歪率の追求とクロストークの低減による高精度なステレオイメージ

KHモニタースピーカーの特徴でもある高精度なステレオイメージを実現するために、左右チャンネルのグランドが分離された内部バランス構造の接続端子を採用。チャンネル間の共通グランド導体の抵抗による電圧降下で生じるクロストークを大幅に低減しました。

ドライバー以外のスペック面も先行機種NDH 20からブラッシュアップされ、特に歪率については0.03%以下という低歪率を達成しています。これらNDH 30 Black Editionのために用意された仕様により、高いパフォーマンスを誇るNDH 20をさらに上回るパフォーマンスを達成し、高精度なモニタリングサウンドを実現しました。

剛性感を維持しつつも軽量化、長時間のスタジオワークでも快適な装着性

ヘッドバンドとイヤーカップは剛性に優れたスチール素材を採用するなど高精度かつ堅牢性の高いハードウェアを採用し、長年のハードなスタジオワークにも耐えうる仕上がりです。調節可能なヘッドバンドには柔軟性のあるスチール、イヤーカップカバーには軽量アルミニウム、本体にはアルミニウムと柔軟なスチールをそれぞれ使用。艶やかなブラックボディで、洗練されたフォルムを完成させました。さらに折り畳み式のデザインにより、付属の柔らかな布製バッグに入れて容易に持ち運ぶことができます。

高い剛性、高級感のある仕上がりは維持しつつも、NDH 20から約10%の軽量化を実現。イヤーパッドも耳あたりの良い素材を採用し、開放型という構造も相まって、大型ヘッドホンながらも長時間の装着が苦になりません。NDH 30はスピーカーの利点である快適性をも追求し、まさにKHモニタースピーカーで聞いているようなヘッドホンモニタリングを実現しました。

さらに折り畳み式のデザインにより、付属の柔らかな布製バッグに入れて容易に持ち運ぶことができます。ケーブルは、ストレートコード（3.0m）が付属しています。

■Portable sound reference
・NDH30 is an open monitor headphone with resolution that reproduces excellent details, highly accurate stereo images, and a sharp sense of localization. Its linear sound field feel and excellent transient response make it recommended for the most demanding applications, such as mixing and mastering.

■Perfect monitoring of Neumann quality
・The NDH30 was developed with the aim of making the reference sound of a perfectly calibrated Neumann studio monitor setup available with the MA1 available anywhere. At the same time, NDH30 forms a unique sound reference and provides great benefits for users. This excellent sonic character makes the NDH 30 an excellent choice for mixing and mastering. Additionally, its long-term comfort makes it suitable for highly precise editing work.
・High quality construction of spring steel and aluminum, comfortable operation is almost the same as NDH 20. However, since the NDH30 is an open headphone, the 38mm dynamic unit acts as an acoustic dipole. This results in sophisticated sound characteristics, including extremely fast transient response, dry bass, uncolored midrange, and transparent treble. The NDH30 reproduces the signal on a one-to-one basis without any coloration.
